Ctac Connector A new solution that combines certified SAP NetWeaver (HTTP Content Server 6.20 - ArchiveLink) integration with an open interface (SAP JAVA Connector) to ensure full flexibility when exchanging information between the systems.
Added value
Alfresco can be used as the “dumb” archive behind SAP or, by making use of the full Alfresco functionality, for exchanging important data information such as meta-data, in addition to the SAP ArchiveLink information.
Direct Storage Access
The Ctac Connector can also be used to store documents/data direct onto legally compliant storage applications such as NetApp Snaplock.
Architecture
Based on an existing, or Alfresco-owned application server, this interface allows any ArchiveLink scenario, such as data and print list archiving, automated invoice processing etc, to be implemented on the Alfresco ECM system.
Access outside SAP
Furthermore, all documents archived from SAP are available on the Alfresco system already thumb-nailed and full-text indexed. This allows you to give a broad group of people access to this information without their being a SAP user.
